From the port of Aegina follow the beach road that leads to the south part of the island passing the beaches of Marathonas and Aeginitissa. After 9km you will reach the beautiful fish village of Perdika. On the crossroad to Sfentouri you turn right for 500m, when you reach the school entrance you turn right again.

Perdika is built around the small port. The beach, on the left side of the village, can be rocky, but the water is so clean that you can see the bottom of the sea. You can chill out under the shadow of the trees and later visit the traditional restaurants and taverns of the area which are ready to serve you fresh fish enjoying the sunset.

Moni island just opposite Perdika, about 3 miles away, is a protected wetland of rare animals and birds. The service throughout the summer is very often to get across on a boat where you will find deer, peacocks and goats roam carefree in their natural environment and also an organised beach.
